Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NestBord platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including property managers, landlords, tenants, and owners.

2. Description of Service

NestBord provides a cloud-based property management platform for Canadian landlords. Features include rent collection, maintenance management, tenant screening, lease generation, listing syndication, and financial reporting. Features vary by subscription plan.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. One person or legal entity per account.

4. Subscription & Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in Canadian dollars (CAD). You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are available within the first 14 days of a new subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform, including: uploading malicious content, attempting to access other users' data, reverse engineering the software, using the platform for illegal purposes, or exceeding the unit limits of your plan.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of your data. NestBord does not claim ownership over any content you upload or generate through the platform. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our services.

7. Limitation of Liability

NestBord is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, data may be permanently deleted.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Saskatchewan, Canada.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will provide 30 days notice of material changes via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
